Remembering Faris Moore 
Faris and I were friends in high school and beyond. We were never close but we would run into each other all the time since we had a lot of the same hobbies. I still laugh about how I ran into him out of nowhere on an impromptu trip to California for an anime convention. Couldn’t believe I ran into a friend so far from home. We went bowling at a bowling alley near the convention center and caught up as it had been a few years since we had last seen each other. It was a lot of fun. It wasn’t too long after that I moved to Tacoma, Washington where I once again ran into Faris! Turns out we lived in the same general area! I wish I had reached out to him more. I had been wanting to talk to him about the SCA and how much fun he was having there, but I took too long. Rest in peace, buddy.
